Myoko Suginohara: the 8.5 km run and the biggest vertical in Myoko Kogen
Resorts · 妙高杉ノ原スキー場 · Checked Oct 2026 for 2026–27
Long cruising runs from the top of the gondola, with views over Lake Nojiri. Changes for 2026–27: no season passes or early-bird tickets.
Myoko Suginohara is run by Prince Snow Resorts and sits below Mt Myoko's southern flank, above Suginosawa. The resort lists a longest run of about 8,500 m and a 1,124 m vertical, the most in Myoko Kogen.
For 2026–27 the operator has dropped its own season passes and its early-bird and advance tickets, and is running a smaller car park with an extra temporary one nearby. The Mt Myoko Super Season Pass sold by Myoko Tourism Management still works here.
Personally I'd suggest a Suginohara day for confident intermediates who want long runs. Do the full 8.5 km top to bottom early, before your legs go.

- Clear days, for the views over Lake Nojiri
Skip when

- You need a cheap early-bird ticket: none are sold for 2026–27
